Daugherty was most recently at First American Title Company where he served as area manager for the past two years. Before that, Daugherty was the Teton County planning director.

Superintendent Gillian Chapman said, “Jeff brings a tremendous amount of community experience and knowledge to the district that will help us move forward with some important efforts including reconfigurating Jackson and Colter Elementary to Kindergarten through fifth grade schools, constructing Munger Mountain Elementary School, and exploring how to address anticipated state budget cuts.”

School board chair Patricia Russell worked with Daugherty in the county planning department. She said Daugherty will be an invaluable addition to the administration.

Daugherty replaces former COO Brad Barker who resigned last July. Daugherty will oversee the operational operations of the school district including transportation, facilities and maintenance, food service, human resources, and finance. He is expected to begin his new job on November 1, 2016.
