Jackson Hole, Wyo.-At 12:05 p.m. Wednesday at the National Museum of Wildlife Art, writer Todd Wilkinson will lecture on Frank Benson, an American impressionist.
After achieving fame with outdoor portraits of his wife and daughters, Benson produced a large body of paintings and etchings of wildfowl. Wilkinson will share about the artist works and legacy.
•Serving style, not coffee, Two Pearl Street Bagels baristas will host a Jewelry show from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the in-Town location of PSB.
Jill Leither and Hannah Barker will show necklaces, bracelets and earrings that feature large, colorful stones and shapely wire designs. Refreshments served.
•You may have noticed the Art Association summer classes booklet on news stands around the valley. After you politely move the stacks so that they are still predominantly showing but no longer concealing the latest issue of Planet JH, have a look at the selection of easy-to-advanced classes in painting, metals, sculpture and more.
Dancers’ Workshop has also listed its summer classes in the program. Most courses are manageable for busy outdoors-centered lives. PJH
