Hillary and Bill Clinton, Obama plan whirlwind Wyoming visits

By PJH Staff

Jackson Hole, Wyoming - Several news agencies are reporting that presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is going to speak at Casper College on Friday and is planning to address an audience at 6:30 p.m. at the Administration Gymnasium.

The Casper Star and Tribune is reporting that sources close to the Obama campaign say the Illinois senator is also making plans to visit Wyoming as soon as this week, with the AP confirming the date to be Friday.

The CST reported earlier that an anonymous Natrona County International Airport employee spilled the beans and confirmed that Obama is planning to make stops in Laramie and Casper.

Reports are also confirming that Bill Clinton is preparing to visit Wyoming on Thursday. The Hillary Clinton campaign has announced that the former president will speak at the Central Wyoming College in Riverton at 10:45 a.m., at the Sweetwater County Events Complex in Rock Springs at 1:45 p.m., and at the University of Wyoming Sports Complex in Laramie at 5 p.m. MST.

Wyoming Democrats caucus Saturday. The state of Wyoming has 12 delegates up for grabs.

One NBC blogger hints as to what Wyomingites can expect: "Voters in Wyoming, Mississippi, and Pennsylvania will want to brace themselves for the political circus that's about to arrive in their states."

Wow, that's a really big photo of Barack, you have there. Where is Hillary? Any balance in reporting the news? Can we get Barack a pillow? A massage? Something to drink? Doesn't the article say something about Bill Clinton coming to Wyoming? I feel sorry for my fellow Americans when they are spoon fed the media's candidate of choice. This is not the Wyoming way, where free thought, spirit and independent ways are part of our blood. This scary man named Barack will contribute nothing to Wyoming. Hillary, at least is a woman in the spirit of Esther Morris and Nellie Taylor Ross, first woman judge and governor respectively, both hailing from Wyoming. Where is her media coverage on this web site? Go Hillary! We LOVE you! ...and not this empty suit of a man.
4Hillary

Note article - Hillary is not coming to Wyoming. Small states don't matter to her.
Go Obama

Please, Hillary has been given a free ride by the media. They christened her the front-runner 7 years ago. They mindlessly accept her false claim of 35 years of experience and publish her misleading attacks ads as news. The only scary thing is how many rubes swallow her BS.
JohnQ

All states and all people matter to her. That is the difference between the two candidates. The media loves to cloud the minds of the American people making them think otherwise. Hmm. Let's see about this media darling. No vote on subsidies for farmers and ranchers. No vote on prohibiting first class seats purchased by the government workers. No vote on Equal Opportunity Commission funding. NO VOTE TO RE-DEPLOY TROOPS. No vote to extend Indian Health Care Improvement Act. This is just a start. My goodness, this guy sounds like a real winner and class act. NOT. Barack believes in nothing but himself, so how can I believe in him? He doesn't exemplify the Wyoming way.
4Hillary

Oh, did I mention that he is against Amtrak, against increasing the production of renewable fuels, against fuel efficiency standards, against renewable energy worker training, against decreasing greenhouse gas emissions. That sounds like a good deal for Wyoming to protect her gorgeous and precious outdoors. Yeah, vote for the Barack and watch Wyoming turn into South Chicago.
4Hillary

Do you have any facts to back that up? Check out Obama's plans for renewable energy - http://www.barackobama.com/issues/energy/.
JohnQ

I agree with JohnQ. Either he is lying in all his town hall meetings and stump speeches or you are just a Clinton supporter, which is fine. But please, don't do like she has done, tell the truth. If you don't know, don't say it. Talking about being fair. The media beat the crap out of Senator Obama this last week and an entire network, NBC, came out to back Senator Obama. Who is the media darling? Here in Virginia, we voted for "change", true change. There was a CNN.com article in January that stated that Americans "say" they want change but their voting habbits go toward the status quo, the same old political game. I hope that Wyoming, like Virgina, really go out and vote in change and prove the CNN.com article different. By-the-way, Senator Obama and John Huckabee are the two candidates that repeatedly mentioned strengthening education in America. Too bad John Huckabee did not fair better. I encouraged you to listen to and look up the real facts Wyoming. Remember, experienced political leaders have lead us up until now. How much more experience does this country want to endure? I encourage you Wyoming to not choose a candidate but choose a "person", a citizen who is wants what is good for "every" American not the chosen few. Yes, I support Senator Obama but I did so after weighing each candidate's message and what they really stand for.
Citizen Al

I agree with JohnQ too. Especially in referring 4Hillary to read up on what Obama really does believe, not what the Clintons say he believes in.
Obamacan

Who ever said Hillary has more experience obviously is not researching the candidates, Here is something for you, If you are a Surgeon and you take your spouse to various events and He or she participates in some capacity, can He or she now add being a surgeon to their resume and will you let them operate on you? Why is it that CNN and other media is passive about her so called experience/ People are voting out of ignorance, you want change but you are not willing to make the change instead you put the same old types of Politicians in office different name different face same politics. Hillary is just like the rest of them, she has always had an agenda. As first lady, she did not want the traditional role she wanted the lime light. If you think, she is for the people what about those who lost their lives during the whitewater scandal. No one seems to remember that situation.
Al R.

Wyoming for Obama!.

Newsweek: The conventional view is that the Clintons approach power the way hard-core gun owners approach a weapon—they'll give it up only when it's wrenched from their cold, dead fingers. http://www.newsweek.com/id/114725/page/2

Clinton campaign called Canadians about NAFTA: Mr. Brodie, apparently seeking to play down the potential impact on Canada, told the reporters the threat was not serious, and that someone from Ms. Clinton's campaign had even contacted Canadian diplomats to tell them not to worry because the NAFTA threats were mostly political posturing. The news agency quoted that source as saying that Mr. Brodie said that someone from Ms. Clinton'scampaign called and was "telling the embassy to take it with a grain of salt." http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/LAC.20080306.NAFTA06/TPStory/National

Hilary loves wyoming!!!! Please, vote for her.
Mick

You will know just how much she loves Wyoming when she loses. She'll simply as she always does when Barack wins"oh they dont matter only the big states does". Hillary for President of New York, California and Ohio. Barac Obama for President 08 of the United States.

"Throwing the Kitchen Sink" Attitude is not good for America. The longer this campaign lasts, the more uncomfortable I am becoming with Senator Clinton's desperate campaign tactics. If the Senator is unable to handle 'setbacks' now without 'whining' or going into the kitchen-sink mode, what will she do if elected to the Office of President, one of the most stressful jobs in the counry. Finally, Senator Clinton really needs to explain her involvement with NAFTAgate. If the allegations made by the Prime Minister of Canada are true, it reflects poorly on the Senator's character and is politics at its worse. The world is watching this historic moment in America - DMC

Maybe if people didn't keep trying to "sew up" the nomination way ahead of the convention, candidates would come to Wyoming more often! I say let ALL Americans vote in the primaries and caucuses. It is our right. As a child, I can remember watching TRUE, exciting conventions where the nominee was picked. Better that way than advertising for Christmas after July 4th! Also, I thought Obama was taking the high road. Maybe three years in Washington is enough to catch the "same old, same old" he kept accusing Hillary of. Whatever happened to the politics of Hope? Whatever happened to change we can believe in? Whatever happened to running a positive campaign? http://hillbuzz.blogspot.com/2008/03/monster-march-monday-money-bomb.html#links

why isnt he addressing this?? too busy bashing hillary and trying to explain Tony Rezko? http://youtube.com/watch?v=sVeFVtcdSYY

He flipflops depending on who he is in front of, here is one of the million quotes... In 2004, Sen. Obama also said there was little difference between his position and George Bush’s position on Iraq: In a meeting with Chicago Tribune reporters at the Democratic National Convention, Obama said, “On Iraq, on paper, there's not as much difference, I think, between the Bush administration and a Kerry administration as there would have been a year ago. […] There's not much of a difference between my position and George Bush's position at this stage.” [Chicago Tribune, 07/27/04]
