Please join Raising Girls for a community conversation on what makes girls thrive. Program Director Carrie Kirkpatrick will lead the dialogue, drawing on themes and research-based best practices from the book How Girls Thrive by psychologist JoAnn Deak, PhD (available at Teton County Library and Valley Bookstore).
Topics of discussion will include the relationship between character development and success, the power of peers, and how adults can help foster girls’ success. Local mental health professionals will be in attendance to help guide the conversation and answer questions. Having read the above book is not required to participate.
