DESCRIPTION:<p>Karen Bubb\, Boise’s Public Arts Manager\, will help local a
 nd regional artists hone their creative approach to public places.</p>\n<p
 >Artists naturally use “design thinking” to solve problems in their creati
 ve processes\, however they can benefit from becoming more conscious of te
 chniques and processes so as to better translate their ideas into public a
 rt concepts. When approaching a public site\, artists are often expected t
 o create work that not only expresses their aesthetic perspective but also
  solves a problem. This workshop will give artists a concrete steps to fol
 low to achieve success. The workshop will end with an informal Q&A session
  over a brown bag lunch.</p>
