Old Bills Smashes Records

JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Philanthropy is alive and well in Jackson Hole. The community known for its giving, especially during the one-day event called Old Bill’s Fun Run, has topped itself again.

More than 450 representatives of nonprofits attended the awards ceremony Monday night at the National Museum of Wildlife History. Katharine Conover, president of the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole, announced the totals for Old Bills and the numbers were again staggering.

Old Bills 2016 brought in a record $12,150,629, up $1.6M over last year’s fundraiser. Other records were smashed including total co-challengers (62, up five from last year), co-challenger matching donations ($3,475,000, up $800,000 over last year), and a total of 3,741 donors (330 more than last year).

Celebrating its 20th year, Old Bill’s has now raised a total of $133,854,817 to benefit local nonprofits.
